Responsibilities:
- Office Management: Organizing files and records.
- Calendar and Scheduling: Managing the ED's calendar, scheduling appointments and meetings, and preparing necessary materials like presentations or reports.
- Communication: Handling correspondence (emails, letters, phone calls), drafting and proofreading documents.
- Meeting Support: Preparing agendas, following up on action items for board and committee meetings, and assisting with Zoom meetings and setup.
Skills:
- Exceptional organizational skills: Meticulous attention to detail in managing schedules, calendars, travel arrangements, and documents.
- Strong communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication are crucial for drafting correspondence, and preparing reports and presentations.
- Faith development knowledge: Possessing an understanding of Christian faith.
Event Planning: Assisting with the organization and execution of events, including fundraising activities and community outreach programs.
- Project Management:
Supporting the Executive Director in various projects, including strategic planning, program development, and grant writing.
Flexible work hours are offered, allowing you to choose start and end times around core non-profit needs. This position qualifies for volunteer service hours.
